Unit 0: Get Started!

  • Identify and name places in town, means of transport, and various jobs.
  • Identify and name school subjects and different areas within a school.
  • Use the Present Simple and adverbs of frequency to talk about routines.
  • Use question words (Who, What, Where, When, How) to ask for information.
  • Talk about future plans and intentions using be going to.
  • Describe people and feelings using adjectives and adjectives with prepositions.
  • Use countable and uncountable nouns with some and any to talk about food
  • and drink.
  • Identify and name different types of food containers.

Unit 1: Family and Friends

  • Identify and name various household chores.
  • Use the Present Continuous to describe actions happening now.
  • Understand and use stative verbs correctly.
  • Distinguish between the Present Simple for habits and the Present Continuous

Unit 3: Going on Holiday

  • Identify and name various holiday activities.
  • Use common phrases with get related to travel and feelings.
  • Talk about past events using the Past Simple in affirmative and negative

  • Ask and answer questions about the past using the Past Simple.
  • Make and respond to requests politely.
  • Write an informal holiday email using standard opening and closing phrases.

Unit 4: Useful Things

  • Identify and name useful household objects and technology.
  • Talk about actions in progress in the past using the Past Continuous.
  • Describe an interrupted action using the Past Continuous and Past Simple
  • with when.
  • Use adverbs of manner to describe how actions are performed.
  • Express sympathy when hearing bad news.

  • Write a short story using a range of past tenses to set the scene and describe

Terms and Conditions

  • Course fees include one digital material copy. A hard copy is available at an additional cost through our recommended supplier.
  • Public groups consist of 16 hours for a Central European Framework (CEFR) level, with 2-7 students per group.
  • After enrolment, students can request to switch to another group or schedule, provided the request is made at least 7 days before the original class start date.
  • All of our teachers are native speakers of the target language. If a teacher is unavailable due to illness or an emergency, a replacement teacher will be provided, fully briefed on the group’s progress.
  • Once a student has started in a group, they cannot request to change to a different group or schedule.
  • Course fees are non-refundable once the group has started.
  • Recordings of group classes are available for later viewing, but we require permission from all students before the course begins.
  • Each program ends with a final exam, including written and verbal sections. To progress to the next CEFR level, a student must score at least 70% on the exam.
